Ways to Donate
Thank you for choosing to partner with Our Community House of Hope (OCHH)!
OCHH provides a loving, quality, end-of-life care home and access to hospice services to people in need. Through the generosity of donors like you in our community, we are able to provide all our services free of charge. OCHH is a 501(c)3 tax exempt nonprofit organization that is 100% community-funded. Donations are 100% tax deductible as allowed by law.
When you donate to OCHH, you help us provide compassionate, end-of-life care to our residents and their families with the understanding that each "life has an inherent value... is worthy of love, compassion and respect." Your support allows us to help make the end-of-life experience a meaningful journey for everyone involved.
OCHH accepts gifts of monetary value, goods and services and ones time. Donations can be made online or through the postal mail. Donations received by mail are submitted to our offices at:
Our Community House of Hope348 W Avenida de los Arboles

Types of Gifts and Contributions
Here are a few ideas of ways you can support the programs and services of OCHH.
- One-time or recurring monetary donations
- If you would like the donation to be "In memory of" or "In honor of," please include the name of the person being remembered/honored with your donation. An acknowledgment letter will be sent to you, which can be used for tax deductions.
- Many companies offer matching funds for donations made to 501(c)3 non-profit organizations. Ask your employer if they will match your contribution and maximize your gift!
- Suggest payroll deductions to your workplace and have the contributions designated to OCHH through the United Way
- Donations of goods or services (e.g. wish list items; items for the house)
- Volunteering of time
- Bequests (in your will or through a revocable trust) or a planned gift
- Planned giving opportunities (e.g. fundraisers; estate planning; services and supplies)
- Attend a fundraising event to benefit OCHH
- Invite a representative from OCHH to come speak to your service or trade organization or other community group
- Include information about the programs and services available at OCHH in your corporate newsletter or advertisements
- "Like" OCHH on Facebook and encourage your friends to do the same
- Use your professional expertise to assist OCHH and enjoy the tax benefits of being an in-kind donor
- Instead of accepting gifts at your next birthday party, ask friends and family to make contributions to OCHH instead
- Honor a friend's birthday, anniversary or other milestone or accomplishment by making a contribution to OCHH in honor or memory of them
- Look into grant and/or matching gift possibilities through your work and sponsor OCHH application for funding
- Next time you have a garage sale, yard sale, raffle, tournament, barbeque or other event, have the proceeds go to OCHH
